Thank you for visiting Chimama Bandanas. My name is Jacqueline and I began designing custom made bandanas for small chihuahuas in April 2006. My own chihuahua, Lucy, is my inspiration for these bandanas. It took off from there and it wasn’t long before friends wanted a speciality bandana for their own loved companions, so I have expanded the business to include bigger dogs. I welcome pictures of customers/models with their Chimama Bandanas – I will post them on the website!
I love to dress my Little Lucy. However, when summer heats up a dress can be too warm. But I keep Lucy looking cool and hip at the same time with just a bandana. These bandanas are great accents with a little dress or even with a jacket during the winter.
Please be aware that it’s not always easy for me to keep a fabric in stock, so if you see one you like buy it – I may not be able to get it again! All my bandanas are reversible and double-stitched and I use the finest cottons. The cotton bandanas are machine washable, although the speciality bling bandanas will need to be hand washed in cold water and laid to dry (to retain the bling). I will always state which bandanas are machine washable and which are not.
I also have a special collection of boas for your sweet companions for dress up and have added some very beautiful fabrics that are full of bling for dress up :+)
I am both the creator and designer and my studio is located in Eagle Rock, California – a small suburb in Los Angeles. I have been in business for 15 months now, with customers from all over the world.
